Our Farm's Story

Growing Premium Crops Since 1879

Garlic Boy Seeds is a 6th-generation family farm that has been growing high-quality crops for almost 150 years! We are located in the fertile Red River Valley near the borders of Manitoba, Minnesota and North Dakota. The land has dark, rich soils that are some of the most productive in the world.

Our farm follows a regenerative approach to farming by increasing biodiversity, planting cover crops, and using natural fertilizers such as seaweed to improve plant health. We ship their farm products across the United States!

Premium Garlic Seed & Cover Crops

We specialize in premium Hardneck Garlic Seed Bulbs for planting across the colder regions of the United States. We also sell quality Cover Crop Seed for soil health, pollinator habitat, and regenerative agriculture. Our farm's unique climate and geography have cold zone 3 winters, hot summers and periodic wet/dry cycles. Growing in these extreme conditions ensures strong selection and adaptation of every variety grown on our farm.

We also provide support to our customers and have a focus on helping smaller growers! Whether you're growing garlic or cover crops in your backyard, small farm or regenerative project, we can help you find what you need.
